Kim Sibbach, 26, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after a battle with breast cancer.
Kim was born in New Hanover County on January 25, 1985 and was a 2003 graduate of New Hanover High School. She graduated East Carolina University where she studied Communications. She was employed by P.T’s on S. 17th Street. She was preceded in death by her grandparents J.D. & Mabel Nester and paternal grandfather Robert Sibbach.
Surviving are her mom and dad Vicki & Darryl Nester, daddy Bob Sibbach, sister Stacy Leigh Sibbach and brother Eric Sibbach, maternal grandparents Charles & Kitty Miller, paternal grandmother Helen Sibbach, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, including a special aunt Myra Peele, and many, many friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011, at First Christian Church, 2035 Oleander Drive with Reverend Ailsa Guardiola Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens. The family will see friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.
