Kory Scott Parker, 34, died on Tuesday, February 16,2021 at home after a chronic illness. Born in Wilmington NC on March 9, 1986, he was the son of Keith and Susan Parker and Betsy Bishop and had attended Cape Fear Community High School.
Mr. Parker was employed by Coastal Glass and Hardware and PT’s Grill Porter’s Neck for many years.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister: Kourtney Caldwell and fiancé Shane Terry; niece: Sophia Caldwell; grandparents: David and Margaret Bishop; aunt: Susan Simmons (Bill); great uncle: Harry Newton (Sue) and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Kory was predeceased by his grandparents, Charlie and Judy Ross.
There was a private family gathering on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.
