LaRon Taylor of Leland, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Leland, NC.

He was born in Alamedia, Ca, on June 3, 1969, the son of the late Margie Bigby (Moehrke).

LaRon was a commercial electrician and was good at his trade. He enjoyed mud bogging, hunting, camping, and being in nature, but most important to LaRon was spending time with his son Nicholas.

He is survived by: a son, Nicholas LeVan Taylor, and his son’s mother Geneva Simmons both of Burgaw, NC, a step daughter, Elizabeth Jackson of Burgaw, NC, grandmother, Betty Simmons of Leland, NC, and a brother-in-law, Shannon Simmons of Leland, NC.

A celebration of his life will be held from 7:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Village Road Funeral and Cremation Service, 525 Village Road, Leland, NC.

    Ron was a great dad and a very open heart person. i remember when i was little girl ron treated me like i was his on little girl even when my father wasnt there. ron coached my solfball teams took me to school and many other things that made me appricate him. Nickolas was his eye balls. He loved his son very much. If you kant say anything else you can say that he was the best dad in the world to nicholas Taylor. IN LOVEING MEM LARON TAYLOR.
