Larry Joshua Goodson 34, of Hampstead was taken from us Friday June 26, 2015.

Goody was born in Wilmington on January 9, 1981 the son of the late Larry Donnell Goodson. He was certified lead welder for Liquid Dynamics.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories mother Almira, brother Matthew James, sister Xaviera “Sissy”, nephew Uzziah, his favorite aunt Wanda Junious and husband Albert, all of Wilmington and cousin Joanna Murphy “Cuzo” of Fort Worth, TX., and many other family and friends.

Goody was raised on the pews of Apostolic Tabernacle 712 Wellington Ave, Wilmington, NC 28401 where a funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2014. Pastor L.E Logue will officiate the service. The family will see friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

    Goody was my best friend, and I couldn't have asked for a better friend. He was always smiling, and that smile made everyone around him smile too. I'm blessed to have known him and to have been able to spend the times I did with him. I would like to extend my prayers to his family, friends, and anyone else who knew and loved Goody.
