Laurie Morgan Anderson, 48, of Castle Hayne, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Born in Wilmington, on October 20, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Leon Leroy and Betty Butler Morgan. She was a member of Castle Hayne Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time fishing at the river.

Surviving, are two sisters, Kimberly Morgan Foraker of Baton Rouge, LA and Kathy Morgan Sprinkle of Castle Hayne. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Anderson; and two brothers, Linwood and William Morgan.

A memorial service will be 3 pm Thursday at Castle Hayne Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Fowler officiating.
