Larry was born to Myron and Rita Quintman, and raised in Crown Heights in Brooklyn, NY. He studied architecture and fine arts at Brooklyn College. He was a member and past president of Cape Fear Wood Carvers and established “the Garage People,” a group of carvers and ship builders that met in his home workshop. He shared a love of travel, fine wine, and gourmet food with Judy, his spouse of more than thirty-five years.

He will be missed greatly by his family and the many friends whose lives he touched over the years.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery (1100 E. Broad St, Westfield, NJ) on Saturday November 28 at 11:30 AM. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held in Wilmington, NC on December 12.
