Lawrence Harvey Dunn of Hampstead passed away early morning 24 May 2012.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years Judith Dunn, daughter Sgts Kyle and Rebekah Hennessy of Camp Lejeune, sons James Dunn of Washington, Matthew Dunn of Hampstead, PFC Michael Dunn of Camp Lejeune, Jonathan Dunn of Hampstead, and Jeff and Martha Irvin or California. Grandchildren Kaylei, Killian, Keira Hennessy. His mother Jacqui Turberville, sisters Bob and Christy Waltz, Steven and Charie Benford and brother Wesley and Melinda Dunn.

He was preceded in death by his parents Capt USMCRET Harvey and Mary Dunn and sister Margaret Cates.

Larry was a retired Navy Chief Submariner and worked for GE of Wilmington as a nuclear engineer. He is a deacon at Barlow Vista Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Barlow Vista Baptist Church with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.
