Mr. Lawrence Michael Raish, 55, of Holly Ridge, NC, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Onslow Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, NC.
Lawrence was born in Hornell, NY, on November 11, 1954, the son of Robert Francis Raish of Hornell, NY and the late Shirley Jean Munn
Raish.
He was married to Janice Jaye Whitman for 25 years, He was a member of the Hornell Association and was a licensed plumber in Hornell, NY. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Tiffany Sue Tyler of Holly Ridge, NC, two brothers, Robert F. Raish, Jr. and wife Jeanne of Canisteo, NY. and Edward J. Raish and wife Cari of Horrell, NY.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 2 PM Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the Topsail Sound RV Park, Fellowship Hall, by the Paster Tom Murry.
The family requests that Memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
