Leamond Thompson “Tom” Langley, age 94, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

He was born in Jacksonville, NC on March 19, 1927, the son of Dallas and Sarah Gould Langley.

Tom worked as a Painting Contractor in his own business for many years and was a longtime member of the Scotts Hill Baptist Church.

Tom served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps.

Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Janie Elizabeth Webb Langley, his children, Deborah Jean Kidd and her husband Wayne, Cherylon Diane Grover and her husband Earl III, Terron Kent Langley and Judy Rae Meadows. He is also survived by his daughter in law, Teresa Langley and by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Together with his parents Tom was predeceased by his son Darryl Thompson Langley.

Tom will be laid to rest in Oleander Memorial Gardens at a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, in loving memory of Tom, would be greatly appreciated.
