Leinwood Charles “LC” Merritt of Leland passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Merritt; three children, Cheryl Marintez, Cynthia Webb, and Patricia Merritt; step-son, Chlifton Ames; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, including Jasmine Merritt age 5 who made her home with “LC” and Jo Ann.

“LC” was retired from Meritta Bakery as a Sales Route Manager.

Memorial service held 2 pm Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Village Road Chapel, 525 Village Road, Leland, NC 28451 officiated by Rev. Vic Potter.
