Leonor Margaret Lesta, of Leland North Carolina, passed away on September 13th, 2022. She was seventy- seven years old.
Known as Lini, by her family and friends, she left behind her husband Fred, two sons Roland and Richard, daughter-in-law Jackie, brothers Bill and his wife Vicky and Ray and his wife Joyce and her beloved grandson Geronimo. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family and friends; so many loved ones from New York, where she was raised, New Jersey, where she raised her boys, in Leland, North Carolina where she lived since 2012. She has left fond memories for all.
Lynn was very active in her community, giving up her time and boundless energy to many worthy causes. Her passions were her family, friends, teaching, and hunting for treasures. She was always ready to lend a hand, help a friend, paint a house, mend a shirt, teach water aerobics or shop for deals. She had a love for life that shone brightly. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel along with an additional visitation 6-8 Monday, September 19, 2022, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 8 pm led by Certified Life Celebrant Linda Register.
