Leroy Frances Hill, born September 10th, 1921, fell asleep in death on October 19th, 2009 at the age of 88.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than 25 years, Alma Bush Hill.

Leroy served in the US Military during World War II and was the recipient of two purple hearts. He also served with the Central Intelligence Agency and later in life with the United States Postal Service.

Leroy studied the Bible and dedicated his life to serve Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ in the year 1972. He was a faithful and loyal servant of God and attended the Leland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was loved and respected by the congregation and looked forward to the Bible’s promise of a resurrection to a paradise Earth.

Leroy is survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was cared for by his good friend, his “adopted daughter” as he called her, Erma Long Bordeaux, and her daughter Robyn Lee Bordeaux. Kenneth W. Long also cared for Leroy. Leroy will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at the Leland Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 177 Old Fayetteville Road, on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Officiating at the memorial of Leroy’s death will be Elder Todd Gillette.

Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry no pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

Psalms 37:29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.

This is the promise given by Jehovah to those resurrected in the new system. Perfect life in a Paradise.
