Lewis Holmes Cottle age 64, of Wilmington, passed away Friday October 29, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 22,1946 in Wilmington, NC to the late George Robert Cottle and Laura Mildred Ansley. He was predeceased in death by his brother Marvin Beale.

Mr. Cottle was a retired Building Contractor and a member of Federal Point Pentecostal Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Cottle of Wilmington; a son, Michael Scott Cottle of Castle Hayne; 2 stepdaughters, Sara-Sasha Dennison of Dekalb, IL. and Samantha Kay Walker of Jacksonville, FL; a brother , Luther Brown of Wilmington, NC; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11 AM Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Winter Park Cemetery with Rev. Ron Capps officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-7:30 PM at Wilmington Burial and Cremation.
