    Mark Susie says:
My daughter Linda Joy Susie was named after my mother Linda. Joy was born shortly after my mother passed away. Joy and my mother share the same spirt, vibrant personality and a work ethic to be admired. They also shared a cancer diagnosis and the trials and tribulation that accompany it. What I will remember most was Joy’s sense of humor, smile and laugh. I want to thank anyone who ever encouraged or supported Joy. My heart breaks for the people who will miss her most, her sister Megan and Tonia, her brothers Sam Steven and Justin and James, her best friend Brandon and her son Alister. Her last message to me was “I love you too! I am trying Dad. It’s hard, but I am trying.” I believe you Joy. I believe you did the very best you could. I accepted Joy for who she is. I only wish more people could have done the same. She was not perfect, but I believe in my heart she did the very best she could for her son Alister. This is the second time my daughter has been taken from me. The first, I was able to fight and get her back. Unfortunately no amount of fight will ever bring her back to me now. Joy, I wish you happiness, tranquility and peace. As you’re dancing you way through heaven Boo please find my mom. She will love to met you.

Even as a little girl, Joy was full of spunk, energy and charm! Each time I would see her, she would squeal, "You have my name!" She loved her family, especially her sister!
