Linda Metz Barbour, 66, passed away on May 4, 2019, at her home in Wilmington, N.C. She was born on August 6, 1952.

She is survived by her son Daniel Thurman Barbour and wife Amy Elizabeth, daughter Kimberly Denise Munley, three grandchildren, Trevor Daniel Barbour, Jayden Alyssa Munley, and Marylyn Hope Barbour, her longtime companion, Steven Maynard, her mother Monirie Metz, sister, Debra Hinson (David), brother Dave Metz (Cathy), brother-in-law Rick Schultz, nephews, Dave Metz (Randi), Brandon Watson (Krissy), Ricky Shultz, Loren Hinson (Shay), and a niece Danielle Schultz (Mark), step-niece Nicole Hudson, great-nieces, Claire Abagail Watson, Izzy Hudson, and many cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Deonne Schultz, and father, Dave Almond Crocket Metz. Pastor Brandon Watson will officiate.

Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 2pm at Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 832 Green Hill Rd N.E. Leland, N.C. Please join us there to honor our Linda and her celebration of life.
