Linda Watson Spittel, a 65 year old resident of Magnolia Greens in Leland, NC passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.

Linda was born in Pittsburg, PA on June 5, 1949. For most of her life she lived in Ellicott City, MD eventually retiring to Leland, North Carolina in 2001. Linda spent her career as a Physical Therapist, working for many years at Care Rehab, later becoming the Vice President of Clinical Affairs.

Linda is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Spittel; her three daughters; Dori Tempio and husband Brian, Kristin Thompson and husband Eric, and Mandi Spittel. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Grim and husband Richard; along with numerous other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joanne Lucas Watson and Harold Milton Watson.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at her home in Leland Saturday, May 2, 2015.

    My sincere sympathy to Chuck and his family! Linda was a special person. I met her at Curves. Even though physically challenged, she gave it her all! I also enjoyed Chuck and Linda's friendship at the wine shop. May she rest in peace!
