Linda Sue Ellison, 63, of Castle Hayne, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Edward and Annie Lou Watson Mintz, and her brother, Elvin Mintz.

She is survived by husband of 33 years, Rusty Pettet; her sons, Roger Murvin and his wife Tammy of Orlando, FL, Steven Murvin and his wife Wendy of Bolton,NC, Matthew Murvin, Christopher Murvin and his wife Christie Herring, all of Wilmington, and John Murvin and his wife Corey of Rocky Point; her 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; her brother, Garry Mintz and his wife Carol of Manning, SC; and her sister, Nancy Lou Kenney.

She was born in Wilmington, April 17, 1954. Linda had been an avid bowler as well as coaching and scorekeeping for Rusty’s softball teams.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 pm in the Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
