Linda Imogene Dallas Willis died Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter at age 52.
Linda was the daughter of Herman J. Dallas and Gladys E. Burns who predeceased her. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Kenneth Willis, sisters, Mickie Hardee, Patty Hardee both of Myrtle Beach, SC, Judy Gibson of Clover, SC, brothers Jeff Dallas, Kings Mtn., NC and Jesse Dallas, Cleveland, OH.
8 Nieces and 4 nephews.
For the past 5 years, Linda has been a dedicated volunteer of the St. Mary Social Ministry/Tileston Outreach where she made many friends who will miss her.
Linda’s life was greatly enhanced by her relationship with the staff and participants in the Helping Hands program.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday May 23 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Downtown Wilmington, 5th and Ann Street. A reception will be held in the school cafeteria for family and friends hosted by her RCIA class.
Burial will take place in Lockhart, SC where her ashes will rest beside her Mother.
