Am sorry to learn we lost Lloyd. If ever God created a friend, he was it! I'll never forget the snakes he shot and killed as they swam across the creek where he lived on River Birch Road. Lloyd loved to fish off his back porch. He was a good cook, too, and was an expert on rice. (Few people are!) My late husband, Hoke, thought the world of Lloyd, and we enjoyed his company immensely. Lloyd was instrumental in helping Hoke with carpentry work, too. It's been almost 20 years since I saw Lloyd, but I still think about him and the good times back then.
