Lois Honeycutt Pratt, age 81, of Wilmington passed away peacefully Friday, July 24, 2015 at her home.

She was born December 28, 1933 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina the daughter of the late Robert Walden Honeycutt and Annie Mae Honeycutt. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Willard Pratt; daughter, Sherry A. Pratt; two brothers, William Honeycutt and Robert Honeycutt; and two sisters, Stella Farmer and Rachel Bass.

Lois was a devoted and loving mother who always put her family first. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and her favorite of all was shopping.

Left to cherish her memory are her, daughters, Susan Pratt Lockerman and husband Allan of Salemburg, NC and Lisa Pratt Parker and husband Steve of Wilmington, NC; sister, Linda Brown; devoted niece, Kathy Bass; and numerous other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel with Pastor Aaron Martin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or the charity of one’s choice.
