Louise Hunter Knox, age 72, of Rocky Point, NC, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2010, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter following a brief illness.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late John Harvie and Elizabeth Graham Hunter.
Surviving are her husband, Buzzy of Rocky Point, NC; a son, Campbell and wife, Audrey Poe, two grandchildren, Eibhleann and Riordan, of Princeton, NJ, and her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Joe Bower of Fort Washington, PA.
Louise loved nature and animals, especially her dog, Rowdy. The highest compliment she could bestow on anybody was that they were a “good egg; Louise was a good egg.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private memorial service at a later date.
Buzzy wishes to thank friends for their thoughts and prayers and express gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.
