Luis Olmo, beloved husband, father and grandpa died on February 10, 2023, he was 77 years old.

Luis is survived by his wife Cecilia Olmo; his sister Brenda Ruiz: his children Dawn Marie Escoto, Frank Lawrence Olmo and Daniel Richard Olmo; his grandchildren Frank Olmo II, Luis Escoto, Lauren Robinson, Melanie Escoto, Aaron Olmo, Darlene Escoto, Ennio Escoto Jr., Victoria (Tori) Olmo, Hannah Olmo and Nicholas Olmo; and his great granddaughter Layla Robinson. In addition to his parents Frank and Esther he was preceded in death by his sister Frances.

Luis was born and raised in the Bronx. He was an engineer for the New York City Department of Transportation. He enjoyed being an umpire and referee since he was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the New York Mets, the NY Giants and the NY Rangers. Luis was most passionate about caring for and being there for his family. He was a provider, a teacher, a coach and a cheerleader.

The family will receive friends from 3-6pm on Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel. There will be a prayer service at 5:00pm.
