Mabel “Tina” Johnson 76, of Wilmington died Sunday December 16, 2007 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

Born December 21, 1930, in Nash County, NC the daughter of the late Lee Geddy Johnson and Lonia Blanton Johnson.

She was a member of the Federal Point Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed life and friends to the fullest and also enjoyed her yard work. Before her retirement she worked as a Nurse’s Aide and private sitter.

Surviving are her Children Warren Chadwick and wife Jackie of Wilmington, Paula Lomba and husband Joe of Wilmington; Roxanne Little and husband Gene of Louisville, TN. Nine Grandchildren Yvonne Sullivan; Natasha Tatum; Eddie Brooks; Stephanie Cascell; Paul Cascell; Alden Chadwick; Teresa Hickman; Suzanne Hickman; Jason Rogers; Eight Great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 Wednesday December 19, 2007 Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Fowler will conduct the service.

The family will see friends 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give special thanks to Silver Stream Nursing Center and all the angels at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter.

She was a sweet lady who always made me laugh...I enjoyed all my time with her and, though we are sad she is gone...she is no longer suffering~She's an ANGEL now, watching over us all~
