Margaret Anne “Peggy” Ashley died on April 8, 2016.

She was born in New York on November 29, 1936 to the late Benjamin Franklin Ashley and Annette Joan Shanley Ashley.

She is survived by her best friend of 58 years, Janice K. Metz; one brother, Paul Ashley and wife, Maureen and their children, Dianne, Gerry and wife Jamie and grandchild, Tyler; one sister, Jane and husband Tom Howley.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at the Basilica Shrine of St. Mary on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Visitation be Monday night at the Village Road Chapel from 7-9:00 PM.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude or charity of your choice.

    We will miss Peggy and her kind and caring ways. Our happy memories of outings and dinners will help to ease the sadness we feel. Her rosaries said for us helped us more than she could have imagined. We know she will be watching over Jan, "Peggy, we will too".
