Margaret (Marge) Krider died peacefully on Friday, February 27 in Shallotte.
She was born in St. Louis, Mo, to the late Sam and Effie Snow, and prior to moving to NC, lived in California. Known for her stylish clothing, she was well- read, witty and engaging.
She worked at the Missouri Athletic Club, Sunset Magazine, and Lockheed. She was a member of the Red Hats, Eastern Star, and the First Presbyterian Church of Sunnyvale, CA. She loved to dance and played the piano and organ beautifully. She travelled extensively and made friends every where she went.
She is predeceased by her husband, Jack, and by her brothers Bill and Dick.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Van Vliet, granddaughters, Brooke Sullivan and Corey Van Vliet, son-in-law, Eddie Van Vliet, grandson-in-law, Joel Sullivan, and great granddaughter, Saki Sullivan.
The family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Care of Shallotte for their kindness towards our mother and the professional compassionate way she was treated while she was a resident there.
