Margaret was my neighbor for 20 years. She was the best neighbor and friend you could imagine. She wasn’t much of a dog person but learned to tolerate my fur babies and I joked that she would ‘probably’ open the door to let them out in case of an emergency. We left each other treats on the railing and helped each other out during many a hurricane, ice & snow storm. I miss her dearly but know heaven has gained the most wonderful addition. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.❤️

Margaret was the first friend I met when I moved to Wilmington over 20 years ago. She was such a genuine friend. We had many good times together. We were in the same Sunday School class and also shared many other interests. She got me involved in "juicing". Margaret was very intelligent and we had many conversations not only about the Bible but many things. She loved to invite friends to dinner and a new recipe maybe from Southern Living. I was with her the day before her accident. I have some good memories from that day and the days following. She seemed happy to be at The Commons. I miss her now.
