Margaret (Peg) Pierce age 73, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, June 27, 2014.

Peg was born on June 30, 1940 in Stamford, CT. a daughter of the late John James Cummings and Frances Margaret Heans.

Peg is survived by her beloved husband Earl (Butch) Pierce; sons Michael Rossi (Patricia) of Allentown, PA., Joe Rossi (late Lori) of Waverly, NY., Tony Rossi (Gail) of Pantego, NC., Mark Rossi of Leland, NC., and daughter Dawna Maryott Miller; brothers Kevin Cummings (Inez) of Sandy Creek, NC., and Jim Cummings (Shirley) of Norwich, NY.; sisters Patricia Babbidge of Swansboro, NC., Bonnie Farischon of Wilmington, NC., and Kathy Christopherson of Nyack, NY.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Peg worked in Waverly, NY, at Leprino’s for many years before moving to North Carolina where she worked at Food Lion and then the Delco Family Entertainment Center.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 7PM to 9PM at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Village Road Chapel, 525 Village Road, Leland, NC 28451.
