MARGARET BLANTON ?PEG? REBER

Margaret Blanton ?Peg? Reber, 89, died December 31, 2010. Her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and James Livingston, were at her bedside.

Born and raised in Shelby, NC, she married her deceased husband, Harold ?Hal? Reber, there in 1943. They retired from the Philadelphia, PA, area to North Myrtle Beach in 1982.

A kind, loyal and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend, Peg loved caring for her family and home, gardening, reading, walking the beach and dancing with Hal. Her gentle manner and strength of character will be greatly missed by her family and friends and Teddy, her cherished poodle companion.

Memorials will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2010 at the Timber Ridge Village Clubhouse, 1101 Timber Ridge Trail, N. Myrtle Beach, and at a later date in Shelby. Memorial donations may be sent to Liberty Hospice, 2550 S. 41st St., Wilmington, NC 28403, whose staff gave the family excellent and compassionate care and support.
