Margarita Crespo Ocasio, age 106, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico, on February 25, 1912, the daughter of Carpio Crespo and Celia Ocasio.

She was predeceased by her parents Carpio Crespo and her mother Celia Ocasio.

She is survived by her children Milton D. Romero and wife Zayda Padron and daughter Rosita Barreras Romero and husband Edwin Barreras Colon,
her grandchildren Edwin Barreras and wife Lynnette Leon, Lynnette Askew and husband Broden Askew, Osvaldo Barreras, Milton D. Romero, Shaydee Romero and husband Jesse Castillo, Rafael Romero, Melissa Waite and husband Jomo Waite, Marcelo Romero and Mauricio Romero,
her great grandchildren Carlos Barreras Leon, Julianna and Annalyse Askew, Jayden, Coral, and Chloe Castillo, Joey and Alexander Waite, and Isaac Romero.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
