Marie Blakely Dubel, age 81 of Wilmington, NC, sadly passed away at Novant Health/New Hanover Regional Medical Center on the 12th of November, 2022.

Marie was born on April 15, 1941 in Alpena, MI.

Marie is survived by her loving son Jonathan Dubel (Melanie), Jonathan’s children William Chase, Hadden Scott, and Olivia Marie Dubel, Melanie’s children Sophie and Steffan Haulman, William’s children Karter Sophia and Adalee Grace Dubel, her brother Jim Blakely (Judy), along with other extended family members and friends who will miss her. She is predeceased by her mother Lua Blakely and her husband John Eiser Dubel.

There will be a Memorial Service for Marie on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00pm at Grace United Methodist Church in Wilmington, NC.

    I’m very saddened to hear the loss of Marie Dubel. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family through this time. Marie was such a wonderful person with such a kind heart.
