Marie Elena Kenkelen passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Born in Riverside, New Jersey to the late Lucy and Joseph Peditto. Marie was 82 years old.

Beloved wife of over 50 years to G. Dennis Kenkelen Sr.; loving mother of Dana (Mike) Jones, William (Eileen) Kraus Jr, John (Dawn) Kenkelen, Dennis (Karissa) Kenkelen Jr.; gram to eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Marie passed peacefully at home with her family by her side. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to AmericanBrainFoundation.org or DementiaSociety.org.

    I left Palmyra many years ago, though will always remember Marie's laughter and the Kenkelen family sharing their love with the Todd family! Marie is a Peace now and in God's Hands. What a wonderful family she left behind to share memories!

    Marie was always a light! She would make you feel special with her big welcoming smile every time you saw her. My memory of her will be how kind she was and how much she loved her family! I will also remember her love for basking in the sun on 11th Street in Surf City. She was a beautiful person on the inside and out! Rest in peace, pretty lady!
