    Anita & Wayne Moore says:
Marilyn and I lived less than a mile apart and shared many a good time during our 61 years. I am so thankful that I was able to spend time with her before her passing. I never knew when I left her on Thursday, before her death on Saturday, that that would be the last time I saw her. I have some comfort in knowing that she is now without pain and suffering and her journey on this earth is over. However the pain of losing her is still there and will be there for a long time. My heart goes out to your family and our other friends. Until we meet again, rest in peace my dear friend! Love you!

    Dianne McKeithan says:
To all of Marilyn's family:you will never walk alone through all of this sorrow, God is right beside you. Marilyn will be missed by so many friends and family, but we have to let her go, she's having a wonderful time with Jesus, the angels , her Mother and many others that have gone on before her; our human hearts hurt, we all need our grieving time, but be happy for her that she never has to hurt or be sick again. I bet she has the angels doing aerboic exercise, planning meets with Jeus, God our Father. Marilyn and I became friends about four years ago when I joined Jennies Branch Church;I have so many good memories of her---like our Christian Mountain Retreats in Ashe county , we had a great time together, getting ready for Fall Festival at church, Christmas fellowship with The Supremes, oh, she could be so funny,we will all miss her laughter and good heart , there is so much to remember about her , a good church secretary, a caring loving woman of God; she loved her family with the deepest love and never put herself first, she was always thinking about doing for someone else that needed help. Know you're having a good time Marilyn, you've earned it my friend. Love u always. One day I'll see you again in heaven.

    Christy says:
Joey, I am so sorry for your loss! All my life I have heard what a wonderful woman she was. I have to agree, especially since I may not have been here if it wasn't for her! I know you heard it a million times but your mom and dad set my mom and dad up on a blind date and the rest is history!!! I have been praying for you, Eliza, and the family and will continue to in the coming days. If there is anything we can do let us know. Greg and Christy Bland
