Marion Beverly Morgan 93, of Wilmington, NC passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

Marion was born in Wilmington on October 1, 1929 the daughter of the late Thomas Calvin and Ethel Lee Barefoot. She was active in the family business Barefoot Bedding, and later went on to real estate sales with Century 21. She was active with the Salvation Army and a member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church. She was a long time Sunday School and group teacher. Also preceding her in death were her husband John Royce Morgan on June 16, 2016 and a brother Robert Barefoot.

Surviving are her son Don Morgan and wife Jan; granddaughters Julie M. Beasley and husband Billy; Amie M. Brendle and husband Rich; three great-grandchildren Morgan Brendle; Mackay Brendle and Micah Beasley.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday March 25, 2023 at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel with pastor Larry Horrell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family suggests memorials be directed to Lower Cape Fear Hospice 1414 Physician Drive Wilmington, NC 28401.
