Marion Justice Smith, Jr. passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Son, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Best Friend to many, Marion J Smith Jr left us lonelier on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was predeceased by his son Bryan Smith and his father Marion J Smith Sr. Left to miss and remember him are his mother Anne Smith; children Heather Recko(Marc) and Marion III and grandchildren: Cameron, Harper and Holt Smith; Rhyan, Jonah, Sarah and Seth Recko; brother Dave Smith(Terry), sisters Belinda Smith(Laurie), Merry de Souza(Gabriella and Andy). Also honorary brother and sister Steve and Debbie Robbins.

All of us are better people having known Marion. He was an unassuming, kind man who was beloved by family, friends and co-workers.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 1:00 pm at Last Call Ministries, 1825 Old Mill Creek Road Se, Winnabow, NC 28479.

    Marion, Jr. was my cousin and the kindness and nicest friend that I have ever had. Just being in his presence made me feel good. I never saw him without a smile on his face. I thank God for allowing me the pleasure and opportunity of being a small part of him and his family. I was very proud of his military service to this country and my family and I are in prayer for his love ones.
