    Mac Herring says:
Mark was a long time member of our gun club, Coharie Shooting League, in Clinton. He would come and spend the day at the range and Lorenda usually accompanied him and Chris when he was younger. We always enjoyed shooting and competing with each other. He was constantly tinkering with his guns and stocks searching for an advantage to hit 1-2 more targets. His unexpected death reminds me of an unexpected discharge he experienced while shooting which we teased him about. I will miss Mark. My sympathies to Lorenda, Chris and Amanda
