Memorial Gifts & Donations

Mark Anthony Wrench, beloved son, brother, and brother-in-law, passed away on October 4, 2023, in his hometown of Wilmington, NC. Born on January 23, 1974, Keith lived a life marked by love, music, and cherished moments with family and friends. He was 49 years old at the time of his passing.

Mark, known affectionately as Keith to those closest to him, had a deep passion for playing the guitar and creating beautiful melodies. He often found solace and joy in sharing his love for music with his brother in law; Calvin Wayne Barnes, with whom he spent countless hours strumming their guitars together. Keith’s harmonious tunes filled the air and brought smiles to the faces of all who listened.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Keith found great happiness in the company of his dogs, who were faithful companions throughout his life. Their presence provided him with comfort and unwavering loyalty, making each day brighter.

Keith will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his loved ones. He leaves behind his mother and step-father, Margaret Gray Eason and Graham Eason, who provided him with endless love and support. Keith’s siblings, Gail Wrench, Dee Barnes, Kermit Wrench, Kurt Wrench and wife, Nicole Wrench, also mourn the loss of their dear brother. Eight nieces and nephews further treasure the memories they shared with their beloved Uncle Keith.

To honor Keith’s life and the impact he had on those around him, a celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel. It is there that family, friends, and all those touched by Keith’s presence will gather to share stories, offer comfort, and pay tribute to a life well-lived.

Though Keith’s departure has left a void in the hearts of many, his memory will forever live on. May he find eternal peace, surrounded by the sweet melodies of his guitar and the love of those who hold him dear.

I met Keith in Richmond Va where his band SOL played some shows years ago . The band was awesome - Keith was awesome and I knew he was a great person immediately. His funny wit, positive outlook and kindness will forever inspire me. We kept In touch through social media over the recent years and he was a treasure to have as a friend. I miss you Keith (or do I) yes I do immensely and will forever be inspired by you. Leigha
