Marlene Clara Fultz was born November 3, 1958. She is the first of her 3 siblings to leave this
earth. She took her epic trip to heaven on May 5, 2023. Marlene is preceded in death by her father

She leaves behind her beautiful mother Marlene Carlino, and her step-dad Joseph, in Ocean City, Md; Her oldest brother, Henry Fultz and his wife Dianne in in Seminole Fl; her older sister Mary Collier her husband Benjamin in Yorktown, Va; her younger brother Michael Fultz and his wife Cindy also inin Whaleyville, Md. Marlene’s friend til the end, Clifford Collins, was her beach buddy and she was his roommate in a lovely little beach palace. They were 2 peas in a pod and took care of each other for more than 6 years. They loved each other and he will miss her dearly. She is also leaving behind her spoiled Maine coon ‘Tosh Mahal’. Marlene’s only child Darcie Ann married Tony Whitaker, and she said he was the best son-in-law a Ma could ask for. Darcie Ann filled Marlene’s heart with 6 grandchildren. Madelyn, 21 years old, is an independent young lady and studying biology. Olivia is 15 and is an award-winning artist. Elizabeth is 13, is a fast runner and rocks the drums. William is 9, was Nana’s sweetheart and likes to play football. Michael is 7, has the ‘Fultzy’ brown eyes and is charming and thoughtful. And Preston-Paul is 4 and was her pride and joy of a little buddy. She loved being a Nana and loved playing with her grand’s. In addition to her immediate family Marlene has many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends that will be missing her smile and laughter.
She loved the ocean and lived at every beach between Florida and Maryland. She worked hard to raise Darcie on server’s salary and in the off-seasons she worked in the auto-body industry in Virginia Beach, Va. Although her body was sick, she was still here for all of us til the very end. She was a devoted Mom and Nana. Except once a month when she got her nails done at Victoria’s. Marlene’s beautiful smile and pretty brown eyes made everyone feel special and loved. She left quick and in a hurry, and our hearts were not ready. Cheers to you Marlene, our dear sweet daughter, mother, nana and friend!
