Dear Kornegay family, I am a curator on Battleship TEXAS. While doing some reseach, I once again came across Mr. Kornegay's name as the youngest man on USS TEXAS during the shelling of France as reported in the SATURDAY EVENING POST. Curious, I searched online and found Mr. Kornegay's obituary here. On behalf of Battleship TEXAS, I offer our condolences.
