Marvin Ray Taylor, 62, passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2019. Marvin was born to Duffy Ray and Beulah Mae (Pate) Taylor on July 24, 1957 in Duplin County NC. Besides his parents, Marvin was predeceased by Dennis Taylor, Linda Arnnett and Barbara Taylor.
Marvin attended East Duplin High School in Beulaville NC. He was an antique dealer.
Survivors include his friend and partner of 42 years, Wilton E. “W.E.” Harris; sisters: Nancy Kornegay, Jean Lee, Arlene Strickland, Betty Scott, Patricia Stevens, Sandra Osik, Jacqueline Taylor, Deborah Jenkins and Shelby Taylor; brothers: Martin Taylor and Russel Taylor and also 20 nieces and 21 nephews.
A memorial service will be scheduled later.
