Mary Ann (Davis) Hattaway, age 87 quietly passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her home.
Mary Ann was born in Rockkingham NC. She was the daughter of the late Jimmie E. and Lillie Kate Mims, and was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Hattaway.
Mary Ann was raised in Salisbury NC, moved to Florida, and moved back to Wilmington, when her father in-law became ill and passed away.
Mary Ann was active in various Churches over the years.
She is survivied by her daughter Terri Groves and her husband Ronnie of Leland, two grandsons Jason, and Steven, one daughter of Lewis Hattaway Gayle and husband Terry Warren, one brother Gary Hattaway, one sister Sandra Morgan and husband Steve, 2 nieces and extended family who lives in Salisbury, NC.
Ann will be missed by many loved ones and friends.
A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at 7:00pm at Leland Church of God .
A visitation will be held at the Church from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm
