Mary Bouldin Robinson, 97, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Autumn Place in Wilmington, NC. She and her husband, the late Ned Robinson, lived in Chattangooga, TN, for many years. Mary had been a resident of Wilmington, NC, for the past ten years.

She is survived by her son, Steve Robinson and wife, Linda, of Wilmington; grandsons, Karl Robinson and great granddaughter Giada of West Palm Beach, FL, and Kurt Robinson and wife, Jennifer, and great grandchilddren Abby and Charlie of Wilmette, IL.

The family wishes to extend a special appreciation to the employees of Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove for the excellent and loving care given to Mary during the last year of her life.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

    I volunteered at Corinthian Place for 4 years and Mary was one of my group of four ladies that I met on day one and got so attached to. With Mary's passing, they are now all gone. I visited Mary a few times at Autumn Care, but not nearly as much as I should have. She was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. Even if 7 or 8 months had gone by without my seeing her, she would always ask me first how my grandson is doing. She had a better memory than I did. Mary had dignity, a good sense of humor and such kindness to others. I know her family will miss her so much and you will be in my thoughts.
