Mary Carolyn Bradford, born on May 2, 1943, in Wilmington, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2023, also in Wilmington. She was surrounded by her loving family, who will forever cherish the memories they shared together.

Mary’s life was an inspiration to all who knew her. Throughout her years, she found immense joy in spending time with her family and spoiling her beloved pets, Snowflake and Pinkie. Her unwavering love for them brought a lightness to her heart that radiated into every corner of her life.

Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her son, Daniel Granger Bradford, Jr., and his wife, Tammie Jo, of Blacksburg, SC; her daughter, Kimberly Bradford Anderson and Jim of Wilmington; her sister, Doris Garrett, and fiancé, Robert, of Castle Hayne, NC; brother-in-law Bob Bradford of Durham, NC and Jere Bradford of Wilmington, NC; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also hold dear the impact she had on their lives.

    Wayne Garrett says:
Aunt Mary was a Beautiful person with a wonderful soul. She was loving, kind, smart and brought happiness and that motherly affection where ever she went. We did not lose her, but gained a Protective Gardian Angel that's now watching over all of us. She did so much good in her life and touched a lot of people along her way. I know she is with Uncle Danny now and I will miss her till I see her again. Love you Wayne

Mary was more than my sister, she was also my best friend. I could go to her with problems and also good times. She was always there to listen and tell me exactly what she thought. I will love and now miss her tremendously. Sis this poem is us: Sisters We shared many secrets The same mom and dad We shared lots of good times. Don't think of the bad; Our memories we'll cherish With love without end. I'm glad you're my sister. I'm glad you're my friend Love you, Doris
