Mary Eugenia Mazur, 89 of Wilmington passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013.

She was born on July 30, 1923 in Wilmington the daughter of the late William Parnell Applewhite and Mamie Westerman Applewhite. She was the widow of the late Anthony Adam Mazur and was preceded in death by her brother, William P. Applewhite, Jr.

Mary was a life long member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Coulson; grandchildren, Adam Drake, Matthew Chaucer (Wendy), Amanda Chaucer, and Wes Chaucer; three great grandchildren, Maci, Chris, and James; one brother, James F. Applewhite, and life long friend, Dot Sellers.

Mass of Resurrection will be 1 PM Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Fifth and Ann Street, Wilmington officiated by Rev. Bob Kus. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.

The family will see friends at the church an hour before the service.
