Mary Noel Mason, age 46, of Burgaw, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Wilmington, on December 24, 1970, the daughter of Thomas Croom and Alicia Hatcher Croom.

Together with her parents she is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years Marty Mason; children Corey Mason and wife Sabrina, Ashley Mason and fiance Braxton Groves and Crystal Mason; grandchildren Laela Mason and William Thomas Mason; sister Stephanie Mason and husband Luke Mason; and nieces Paige Mason and Hailey Mason.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel. A service to celebrate Noel’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the Gibson Avenue Baptist Church, 2037 Wrightsville Ave, Wilmington, NC 28403, Reverend Tex Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.

    Aaaawww God received another loving angel. Noel was such a delight and joy to work with at Williams Cleaners. I realize it been years but have had the pleasure of seeing her a couple of times since than . Always had a smile for everyone . She will be dearly miss. I'm sure she will be watching over her loved ones now . Rest In Peace dear one , God loves you . Just as much as everyone else does .
