Marylou Cosme, 48, passed away at her home in Wilmington on July 12, 2019.

Marylou was born in New York, NY on May 16, 1971 to Jose Luis Cosme and Minerva Silva Collazo.
She spent many years living in Bronx, NY before moving to Wilmington.

Marylou is survived by her children: Daughters, Marylynn DeJesus and Mariah Melendez, Son Matthew Melendez, Sisters, Miriam Svenonius, Josephine Correa, Minerva Rodriguez, Brother, Frisco Cosme, Sister-in-law Terry Svenonius, Brothers-in-laws, Ivan Rodriguez and Roland, and several nieces and nephews.
Marylou was a beautiful, loving and compassionate mother, sister, daughter and friend. She will be dearly missed by all.
A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
