An old feeling from my childhood has returned. I’m remembering my big sister when I was 12 and she was 18 and she went off to university. I felt so lost and couldn’t wait for her to come home.

"Who you trying to kid? You think I was born yesterday? Listen to me! You do seem happy as a clam in the mud at full tide, but I did not just fall off the proverbial turnip truck to fall again for some Cheshire cat wanting to paint the town red on cloud nine."

Then after the longest pregnant pause, "That's right beautiful is as beautiful does! And any fool, like a piece of ice on a hot stove must ride on its own melting. So, you must needs best get in here presently, and clean this kitchen if you intend to think comfortably about having your next meal in tandem with me this evening!"
