Ms. Melissa Ruth Wood, of Myrtle Beach, SC formally of St. Pauls, NC was born on February 13, 1982 in Wake County, NC and passed away on March 17, 2023, completing her journey of 41 years.
She was a daughter of the late Belinda Gail Locklear.
Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memories three sons; Austin Wood and wife Nathalia of Austin TX, Preston Branham of SC, Lacey Wood of Lumberton, NC, one daughter; Leci Wood of Lumberton, NC, one grandchild, along with a host of relatives and friends.
Melissa will be laid to rest beside her mother in Oakridge Cemetery in St. Pauls, NC.
