Gene Davis age 62 of Wilmington passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Gene was born in Wilmington to Edward Earl Davis and Dorothy Woodcock Davis. He was a graduate of Hoggard High School and was working for ALCAMI.

He is survived by his brother Craig Davis and wife Angie; niece Maddie Davis and nepew Blake Davis.

    I am so sorry to hear the news and will definitely miss seeing Gene. He was one of the nicest and happiest guys I would see around work. He always made a point to say hey to me when he saw me and I definitely appreciate his friendly and upbeat attitude. He is a great person and I already miss talking to him.
