    Beth (Hemingway) Connaughton says:
Dear Jheys, Olivia, Beecher, and Kristin, I worked at the Carolina Beach Clear-Vue office for Captain Mike for years. He, Lynn Harper and I worked hard, fished hard on Large Time, and occasionally partied hard at the old Harbor Master's bar. He was a very special man to many people. Good times I will never forget. I got a little puppy I named Scooter and Mike insisted I change it to "Captain Scooter"! Quite a guy! God rest ye' Mike. You are alive on earth in our hearts.

    Tom and Cindy Sayre says:
We have known and loved our Carolina Beach Mike Britt for so long....his Red Truck a regular sight and the wave of his hand out the window.....seeing him coming from his Boat at the Snow's and asking him how the fishing went. We were shocked to hear of his sudden and unexpected Passing. Our Hearts go out to his Wife and Family at this time of deep Sorrow and Loss. He is and will be Missed.
