Mrs. Mildred Ethel Long Gore 92, of Wilmington passed Tuesday evening October 20, 2020 at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove.

Mildred was born in Columbus County on June 13, 1928 the daughter of the late Thomas Jarvis and Mary Jane Ellis Long. She was the widow of John W. Gore, Sr. who passed on October 12, 1974, and also preceded in death by her son John W. Gore, Jr, and grandson David Gore who passed away on April 3, 2020. Mildred was a homemaker and a self employed Drape Maker.

Surviving are her granddaughter Lisa George of Cameron, NC.

Mildred will be buried with her husband in a private service at the Wilmington National Cemetery.
